Integrated Process Safety Solutions
Develop a top-of-mind safety culture where Process Safety is at the forefront of your business activities while maximising productivity and reducing costs
We are combining forces with Synergen OG and Competency Training to offer a single sourced process safety solution
LogiCamms offer consultation, deliver and maintenance services across hydrocarbons, infrastructure, and minerals and metals industries. A multi-discipline company, we provide a complete service to reduce costs, improve performance and enhance the value of operations.
Synergen OG offers process safety solutions to enable clients to effectively operate, modify and enhance operations safely while maintaining regulatory compliance.
Competency Training is a holistic training provider, delivering high-quality graduates to site.
Together, we are supporting multinational companies to meet the challenge of delivering integrated process safety engineering and training solutions to their global operations and workforces.
We work side by side with our operating clients to demonstrate, both to internal parties and external parties that their facility is safe and that all risks are reasonably managed and reduced to ALARP. We are able to assist with all key elements of the Safety Case (both new development or update of existing) ensuring that the SMS, risk factors and Emergency Response Procedures are clearly communicated to employees of all levels within the organisation.
We cover your engineering and training requirements and bridge the gap between design and operations.
The Case for Process Safety
Process safety is the practice of good design, sound engineering principles, management skills, robust operations, maintenance and decommissioning procedures to manage the integrity of hazardous processes and Major Hazardous Facilities (MHF), in order to prevent accidents and near misses.
Process safety is dependent on all levels within an organisation demonstrating behaviours that comply with industry benchmarks and standards and encouraging and promoting a safety culture.
A Safety Management System (SMS) is used as the primary means to ensure the safe operation at a MHF. It is a comprehensive and integrated live document detailing policy, planning and control measures that are in place to assess and ensure that the facility is safe and that all risks are managed and reduced to “as low as reasonably practicable” (ALARP). The SMS covers the whole facility with the Safety Case and is continually reviewed and revised so that the SMS remains current and effective.
Process Safety Training Courses
LogiCamms provides process safety training to Australian standards through our Registered Training Provider, Competency Training. To enrol or read more information about the following Process Safety training courses, please visit here.
Process Safety Awareness – eLearning
Designed for personnel working in a process plant environment and who need to understand and develop their knowledge of process safety hazards and risks and their management.
Process Safety Awareness – 1 day
This course is intended for personnel withina process plant environment, including managers, engineers, supervisors, administrative staff and other personnel.
Process Safety Management – 3 days
This course is best suited to personnel at all organisational levels with an emphasis on managers, team leaders, engineers and safety personnel. It is also important for staff involved in the design, operation, modification or maintenance of process facilities or other major hazard areas, and anyone who would like to develop their understanding of process safety.

Meeting the Process Safety Challenge:
Process Safety Improvement Plan for Oil and Gas Producer
Since 2014, LogiCamms has been assisting a major oil and gas producer with their Process Safety Improvement Plan (PSIP) in the development of a Basis of Safe Operation (BSO) for their facilities in Papua New Guinea.
The BSO defines how the client manage risk and how this is applied to Major Accident Events – people, work planning, maintenance and integrity management, emergency response and process safeguarding. A series of assessments including HAZOP, Consequence Analysis, Bow Tie Analysis and SIL were undertaken in support of the BSO.
LogiCamms was instrumental in the close out of the actions arising from these assessments, helping the client OSL better understand their major accident risks and to prove that the risks are tolerable and acceptable. LogiCamms assisted in developing risk reduction measures, which are generally associated with adding or improving barriers and reducing the frequency of events, by:
- Identifying options
- Developing high-level project scopes and estimates
- Providing engineering judgement
- Presenting the options on a risk vs cost plot
- Developing a plan for implementation
Connect with the experts
- Technically focused process safety engineering services delivered by a team of process and risk engineering professionals
- Comprehensive support to deliver the highest industry standards in process safety compliance
- Robust compliance and risk aware expertise developed over 20 years in the Offshore, Industrial, Chemical Processing, Refinery and Fuel sectors
