LogiCamms receives Formal Contract for Victorian Desalination Plant Control System

InfrastructureHeroWaterTankASX Announcement - LogiCamms is pleased to advise it has received formal contract award from Thiess Degrémont, the design and construction contractor for the $3.5 billion Victorian Desalination Project, for supply, installation support and site acceptance testing of the Project Control Systems.   

This contract award follows the letter of intent recently received for this project, as advised to the market on 12 May 2010.

The fixed price component of the contract is $10.75m, with site works to be undertaken on a rates reimbursable basis.

The Victorian Desalination Project is the largest infrastructure project in the State's history. It is being delivered by AquaSure, which comprises leaders in the fields of infrastructure design, construction, and finance: Degrémont, a SUEZ ENVIRONNEMENT company, Thiess, and Macquarie Capital.

LogiCamms Managing Director, Adam Keats, commented, "We have considerable expertise in the Water sector, having worked on many significant water projects, including the Adelaide Desalination Pilot Plant and the Adelaide Desalination Plant Transfer Pipe project.
