ASX Announcement - Mr Paul Harrison joins LogiCamms in the newly created position of Chief Operating Officer, effective from 2nd March 2010.
"This newly created senior executive role is a reflection of, and will strengthen, the development of the company's national capability to successfully deliver larger multi-discipline EPC and EPCM project solutions to our blue chip client base," LogiCamms Managing Director Adam Keats said.
"Paul's appointment will substantially strengthen the senior executive team of the company. His industry experience, expertise and credibility will help drive the company's strategic growth and development initiatives," Mr Keats said.
Mr Harrison has 25 years extensive project, asset management and executive general management experience within the international hydrocarbon, resources and complex process industries. For the past 14 years has held senior management positions for WorleyParsons and he has also previously worked for AMEC Process & Energy Ltd, ELF Petroleum Ltd and Marathon Oil UK Ltd.
In Mr Harrison's most recent position, which he has held since 2005, he was responsible for the operational performance of the asset management and brownfield projects division within all WorleyParsons industry groups, which included Hydrocarbons, Minerals/Metals Processing & Infrastructure.
Mr Harrison's previous roles at WorleyParsons included:
• Executive General Manager, Transfield Worley Services – appointed to lead the growth of the joint venture with the provision of added value integrated project, maintenance and asset management solutions.
• General Manager Transfield Worley, Woodside Alliance – responsible for leading and developing the integrated services contract with Woodside Energy Ltd, the largest contract of its size in the Southern Hemisphere.
The timing of Mr Harrison's appointment is opportune, given the successful conclusion of the company's most recent acquisition, MPA Consulting Engineers, a multidiscipline engineering company servicing a blue chip client base. In his new role Mr Harrison will oversee the successful transition of MPA into the company.
"The acquisition of MPA will enable LogiCamms to deliver more complex, higher value projects, and Paul will be integral in overseeing these developments," Mr Keats said. "The board and executive team look forward to working closely with Paul to utilise his knowledge and skills to drive the development of the company."
