LogiCamms wins strategic BHPB Olympic Dam multi-discipline engineering contract
LogiCamms is pleased to advise it has been awarded a $0.5M Contract with BHP Billiton to perform a Feasibility Study Estimate at the existing operation for a new process facility at BHP Billiton's Olympic Dam Copper, Uranium and Gold production plant at Roxby Downs, South Australia.
This multi-discipline engineering project was secured in competitive tender against multi-national engineering companies. LogiCamms Managing Director, Adam Keats, commented, "This contract win, in competitive tender against industry leaders, is a tangible demonstration of our capacity to successfully execute our strategy and is a leading indicator of the synergies we are able to leverage from the recent acquisitions of Process Essentials Pty Ltd and MPA Consulting Engineers Pty Ltd.
The Contract is configured to allow extension to an Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) order if BHP Billiton approves funding for the construction phase of the project and subsequently awards the EPC phase of the Contract to LogiCamms.
"BHP Billiton is a long standing client of ours and this project represents an opportunity for us to extend and strengthen that relationship. We look forward to working closely with BHP to deliver an outstanding project result", Keats said.
