Graduate Electrical Engineer Assessment Comes to WA
21 September 2016
Is it possible that after many years of studying, it would be difficult for a graduate to find a role in a company that offers a robust Graduate Program?
Over 400 applicants told LogiCamms it was.
LogiCamms is pleased to be offering a Graduate Program in an environment where other companies are shutting theirs down. The program has been designed to provide a positive experience for graduates that are handpicked by Andrew Hawdon, Manager – Electrical, and to provide insight into their capabilities after years of University.
Embarking on Change
Change is inevitable and in the world of business transformation, tough landscapes, and diversification LogiCamms want to connect with a broader community. To achieve this, LogiCamms invested in developing the first assessment centre in Perth for a Graduate Electrical Engineer, a big change for LogiCamms who are traditional in the recruiting space.
The day of the assessment centre commenced with an address by Human Resource Manager, Emma Phillips and Human Resource Advisor, Andy Liepins. Graduates then undertook a group session and technical session that saw all Graduate’s diligently work through the plans and questions that LogiCamms Senior Electrical Engineer, Jon Lingard compiled.
A follow up interview was conducted, but not before Jon Lingard stepped graduates through answers.
The day was a great networking environment for graduates by having one-on-one time with a Senior Electrical Engineer in a real life situation.
A successful outcome for LogiCamms but equally a great opportunity for graduates to network with the electrical team, share experiences and walk away as friends.
